Application and Self-Assessment
Application:
Establishments wishing to obtain the label of excellence must submit a formal application including basic information about the school.
Self-Assessment:
Schools complete a detailed self-assessment package that covers all aspects of their operations, including curricula, teaching methods, administration, student services, and student achievement.
Document Review
Submission of Documents:
Schools must provide documentation demonstrating compliance with established standards, including study plans, teacher qualifications, and educational policies.
Preliminary Review:
A team of accreditation experts reviews submitted documents to ensure they meet the minimum criteria required for an on-site visit.
Site Visit
On-Site Assessment:
A team of assessors visits the school to observe classroom practices, interact with students and staff, and evaluate the learning environment.
Interviews:
Interviews are conducted with teachers, administrative staff, students and parents to obtain direct feedback on the educational experience.
Assessment Report
Writing the Report:
The evaluators write a detailed report which highlights the strengths and weaknesses of the establishment in relation to the standards of excellence.
Recommendations:
The report includes recommendations for improvements and adjustments necessary to maintain or achieve the required level of excellence.
Certification
Delivery of the Label:
If the school meets the criteria of excellence, the label of excellence is awarded.
Monitoring and Reassessment:
Monitoring visits are planned to ensure that the school maintains the required standards. The label is re-evaluated every 3 to 5 years.
Continuous Improvement
Improvement Plan:
Schools must submit a continuous improvement plan based on the recommendations of the evaluation report.
Support and Resources:
Resources and training can be provided to help schools implement their improvement plans.
